Q: What does linkvertise mean?
A: Linkvertise is a combination of 'advertise' and 'hyperlink'.
Q: Why was this site made?
A: This site was made for a few reasons. 1) We're tired of seeing larger sites steal all the advertising money while providing a boring and simplistic advertising method that barely pays back. 2) We wanted to try something new. 3) We love to create websites and we couldn't find any advertising campaign we were happy enough with to use. 4) There aren't enough options for webmasters to buy traffic to their websites and web pages on the internet.. unless you want to spend big $$$. 5) Cause we can. 6) Cause it's fun and interesting. 7) and most importantly... to help people and other webmasters to get traffic indefinitely for an extremely low cost!
Q: How does this site work?
A: Say you have a webpage that you'd like people to see. You pay $1 to add it to this site. It will now be displayed across our advertises websites and of course this site. Our website has been coded precariously to treat every link equally. For example, if Joe adds a link that gets 500 clicks and Tammy adds a link that gets 300 clicks... linkvertise.org will automatically know that Joe has too many clicks and Tammy needs to catch up. Linkvertise.org will then move Joe's link aside temporarily until Tammy's link gets some clicks and catches up. The website is 100% precise and accurate so there's never any need to worry. Everyone will get their $1 worth indefinitely. And, if that isn't cool enough... our advertising websites use targeted keywords to display only relevant links from the linkvertise.org database across thousands of pages of content. Now, you look around on the internet and tell me if you can find a deal like this for $1 anywhere else.
Q: How can linkvertise.org do all of this for only $1?
A: Because of the way this website works, there is no limit to how many links may be added.. therefore there's no reason it needs to cost any more than $1. You can spend $30 and add 30 links to the site if you'd like. This will GREATLY increase how many clicks you're going to receive. Besides, we wouldn't even pay more than $1 ourselves.. and anything less than $1 would be pointless.
Q: I haven't received any clicks for a while.. what's the deal?
A: Be patient, you must have received more clicks than everyone else that paid $1. As soon as their links catch up to yours you will start recieving traffic again. If you'd like to see when your link will be live across our advertising servers again, just remember to visit the main page of this site.
Q: On the main page of the site it says 'High Priority Links'. What does that mean?
A: These are links that have the least amount of clicks. That tells linkvertise.org that these links need priority in order to catch up with the rest of the links in the database. This is a constant battle between which links have the largest number of clicks.. and the more links in the database, the larger the battle becomes. The outcome? All paid advertisers indefinitely get traffic.
Q: Will I still recieve traffic even if my link currently isn't set to 'high priority'?
A: Yes, your link will always be displayed on linkvertise.org. For example, a user may search our database and find your link... or they may be on a page with targeted results which will display your link. There are many ways for you to recieve traffic other than just having a high priority link. The 'high priority' feature has been added to ensure links that are lacking in clicks get fair and equal treatment. If your link is not currently high priority you should be excited to know that you've recieved more traffic out of your $1 than most of our paid advertisers.
Q: If two or more links have the same amount of clicks, which link gets priority?
A: If Jeff added a link on Tuesday, Janet added a link on Wednesday, and both links have 34 clicks... Jeff's link was added first, Jeff paid first, and therefore Jeff gets priority. In other words, it's set on a first come first serve basis in that scenario.
Q: How many links may I buy?
A: As many as you'd like, whenever you want.
Q: When will my link(s) get added to this site?
A: As soon as we double check that your submission is not spam and after we have verified that you have paid for the link or links.
Q: How long will my ad be displayed?
A: Your link will be kept in our database forever unless you specifically ask us to remove it. We cannot refund your $1 if you ask us to remove your link. The longer it is in our database, the longer you'll continue to receive traffic from it.
Q: Can I display the ads on my site?
A: Yes, but we cannot track the ads you display or pay you for displaying them. If you'd like to display our ads for free just to thank us for providing this cool and unique website.. please contact us for more information. Down the road we'd like to offer to pay advertisers to display our ads... but as of right now that is not something we're interested in doing. Please stay tuned.
Q: What benefit is it to become a member?
A: Becoming a member will allow you to test new features before anyone else.. plus you'll be able to review any link in our database for others to read. Links with reviews immediately get more attention than links without reviews, however, this will not affect where they are in line to be advertised. In other words, this will not change or stop links from getting equal advertising.
Q: How much traffic will I get for each link added?
A: That's impossible to tell. Watch your traffic stats for traffic from this domain (linkvertise.org) and then let us know and we'll try to write a rough estimate for everyone in the near future.
Q: How do targeted links affect what links get traffic?
A: By using targeted links it will 1) help you get targeted users that are truly interested in your link and 2) make sure your relevant link is displayed before a non-relevant link with less traffic just cause it needs to catch up in clicks. We at linkvertise.org have decided that it's more beneficial to display relevant links rather than non-relevant links because this will greatly increase the chances our adveritsers links will get clicked. This will make for more unique and individual results for everyone.
Q: Are all ads on all sites displayed as targeted ads?
A: No, this would be very limiting. Some pages do not handle targeted keywords. In these scenarios, the links that need clicks the most will show up. This helps to ensure that everyone will get clicks and will continue receiving clicks forever.
